Dr. Ibezi is a community-based Family Physician in Saskatoon. She obtained her primary medical qualification from the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria and went on to England to complete her residency in Family Medicine.

She is the Vice-President of Black Physicians of Canada. She is also a formal mentor in the BPC Mentoring Program.

Dr. Ibezi volunteers in providing public health education to newcomers in the community on topics affecting the population and was a member of the scientific planning committee that developed Canada's first accredited e-learning module on pancreatic cancer, a project of Craig's Cause Pancreatic Cancer Society.
