Goal:
To bring participants together from across Canada, to raise awareness about and change the outcome of pancreatic cancer, through a unique, evening 5km run/walk for all ages and abilities.
Background:
Kicking PancreAS™ (formerly Light up the Lake) was created by Craig’s Cause Pancreatic Cancer Society in 2014. Our first event took place in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia and has since expanded to include Newfoundland, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, Ontario and Saskatchewan. We continue to expand year over year with the goal of an event in each province.
We are proud to say that this unique event has attracted thousands of participants of all ages and abilities from across Canada and continues to grow.
