Annual Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Bike / Run / Walk

Defeating Pancreatic Cancer Together

Goal:
Bringing participants together from all over Nova Scotia, to “defeat pancreatic cancer."

Background:
The first Annual Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Bike /Run/ Walk was established in 2007 in memory of Craig Schurman Condon, who passed away from pancreatic cancer 8 weeks after diagnosis, on September 29th, 2006.

Each year cyclists, walkers, runners, individuals and families gather in Porters Lake Provincial Park to raise awareness and funds for pancreatic cancer awareness, education, support and research and to honour and remember loved ones diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

Participants can register as individuals or as teams and have the choice of walking, running and cycling routes, within the park or around Porters Lake. Unique bibs, lanyards and finishing medals are provided to all participants. Food and live entertainment starts at 11am.
