Craig's Cause Patient and Caregiver Support Group - and video series
The Craig's Cause Pancreatic Cancer Support Group meets the first Tuesday of every month in Halifax at the Lodge that Gives on Summer Street, from 7 - 9 pm. Each meeting includes a presentation from a guest speaker with expertise relevant to dealing with pancreatic cancer. Starting in January 2012, presentations of our guest speakers will be videotaped for the benefit of those who cannot attend the meetings.
February 5, 2013 - Celine Burlock explains ways to find peace. Celine is a certified life and wellness coach and medical Qi Gong instructor in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
October 2012, - Roy Ellis talks about grief. Roy is the "bereavement coordinator" for the QEII Health Science Centre in Halifax.
September 2012 - Dr. Rob Rutledge talks about the mind-body-spirit connection and pancreatic cancer
Dr. Rutledge is a radiation oncologist and Associate Professor at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada. Rob combines his experience of working with people affected by life-threatning illness and the science of the mind-body connection to provide a practical and inspiring approach to the cancer diagnosis.
